NAMI-Athens Member to Present at International Conference

NAMI-Athens board member Milt Greek  will be presenting on the topic Calming a Psychotic Person in Crisis, at the 2010 International Crisis Intervention Team Conference, being held in San Antonio, Texas at Marriot Rivercenter on June 1 – June 3, 2010.

Milt’s presentation is  slated for June 2nd, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.  His presentation was among a large number of submissions and was designated as one of the best and most rewarding for conference attendees.  

Milt developed schizophrenia in the mid-80’s, and his struggles to learn to live the illness have provided him unique and valuable insight.   He began speaking about schizophrenia in 2001, and at the Crisis Intervention Team Conference, he will be sharing his expertise with colleagues from across the Nation and the Globe.
